February Recap
February was a fun month. No traveling. Just stayed local doing the mom things. I’m making progress on most of my goals for the year. Harper is thriving. At this point, we’re just waiting for warmer Spring days. Hello March! ☀️
Speaking of warmer days, we had a few in February and it was glorious. I’ll definitely be a park mom as it gets warmer. Harp loves the park but hates leaving (typical lol).
Preschool registration was an experience. We submitted the paperwork and had a little playdate at the school before we got offered a spot. Harp is such a kind little leader and a social butterfly so I knew she was going to do amazing. But of course, I still got nervous when we dropped her off in the classroom. The teachers had nothing but great things to say about her and I was so proud. I may have cried a little.
Valentine’s Day dinner at 4:30pm with a toddler was a 10/10. I definitely love getting places earlier these days lol. We love visiting Smashing Grapes in Gambrills. Perfect place for a nice meal with or without kids.
We’ve entered the stage of toddlerhood where she likes to walk around the store. She’s almost two, so no surprise there. But she also might get upset if we say she cannot have something or go down the escalator backwards. We still (mostly) have a great time shopping.
I recently got a flexi rod set done on my hair. It was cute and lasted longer than I expected. I’m trying to figure out two hairstyles I really love and stick with those. I have a lot of hair shrinkage and it’s soo annoying (grateful for the healthy hair though). I hate wearing my hair straight. And I recently decided I’m tired of Marley twists. Idk, y’all. Stay tuned!
